MEATS DAY OFF
They’re cute and fuzzy, so why do we eat them!? Honestly, because they taste amazing. A Double Shack with fries? Yes, please. But if you skipped meat for just one day, you could reduce your carbon emissions by over 8 lbs. Over the course of a year, that’s equivalent to the emissions produced by driving from NYC to Wolf Creek Township, PA. If you don’t know where that is, neither do I, but Google says it’s a 348-mile drive. And that’s quite a distance! Our meaty friends work hard. Give ‘em just one day off a week. Your colon will thank you—and the planet will too.
